The iconic One Times Square is the site of the NYE ball drop, situated right in the middle of a highly trafficked area and tourist hotspot.

Our team designed the temporary equipment plans for the installation of the rooftop davit arms in an effort that relied on multiple mobile cranes. A complete shut-down of One Times Square Plaza and 42nd Street required complex coordination with the Times Square Alliance, NYCTA, NYC DOB, NYCDOT, & NYPD.  A 400-ton luffing crane was assembled to a staggering 415-foot configuration, over the course of 8 hours in the middle of the night.  They don’t call us the city that never sleeps for nothing.
